Metals and Plastics
Engraving is suitable for long-term requirements if used on metal substrates, as by removing material from the surface, it will remain visible despite weathering. Plastics can also be engraved: there is a minimum of 2 layers required for this – the engraver removes the top layer, and therefore leaves the design in the colour below.
Engraving uses a cutter in a motorised spindle to carve grooves and characters, most commonly onto rigid, exterior or flexible laminates. Using CAD software, we can produce intricate designs depending on your specification.

Our 30 year tenure in topside and subsea signage mean we have developed various fixing solutions such as KISS or Adhesive to attach your plates.
Lead times are dependent on the process and volumes, however typically can be manufactured within 1 week.
