ShieldTM is our standard mechanical fixing solution for Aquasign® underwater markers.
The Aquasign® subsea label is supplied encased in robust polycarbonate frame offering enhanced damage tolerance, recommended for high intervention areas.
The polycarbonate frames are manufactured in-house, customizable to our client’s requirements – including shape, size and the preferred fixing method. Most commonly supplied with bolt holes, the protection frame can also be manufactured with cable tie slots for grated applications such as manifold roofs, a self-adhesive backing for flat substrates or supplied with a single hole for equipment identification tags. This range is also used in conjunction with our Magnet and Spring Clip Retrofit Solutions.
Polycarbonate is utilized to provide an extremely tough and durable solution, offering protection from accidental ROV, diver or jet washing damage. The frame design has been independently pressure tested to 700Bar (10150psi) without any noticeable deterioration.
Our standard lead time for mechanical solutions is 20 working days, however AQUASIGN will always work to meet your project demands.
